Here is a salad that can be eaten as a main dish or as a side, and no matter what, there is no chance that it won't be completely devoured. Fattoush is one of the sexiest salads you can celebrate the summer produce with! Crunchy roughly cut veggies combined with a bunch of herbs and toasted (or fried) pieces of pita. Fattoush belongs to the family of dishes known as fattat, which uses stale flatbread as a base. The seasoning for the salad is based on strong lemon juice and sumac, while some recipes also add pomegranate molasses along with the sumac. A nice topping you can add to the salad is crumbled young brined cheese such as feta, it takes it to a whole new level.
