Tuna Melt Sandwich

Tuna melt is absolutely my biggest surprise in food recently. I heard about this sandwich before but was very suspicious. When I was a kid, my go to guilty pleasure sandwich was always pizza toast, which as you can understand from the name- tomato sauce, melted cheese and some add-ins. I never thought of combining canned tuna with melted cheese. But listen to that guys- it's an unbelievable combination! I cannot believe I haven't had this sandwich all my life. This version I'm sharing with you here is inspired by the first tune melt I have ever had, in a polish-jewish diner near my house in downtown Manhattan. Give it a try, it's worth it so much!
