@Helen the marmalade is on the bitter side but not unpalatably so, and it balances well with the enriched dough. The frosting definitely has enough sugar to balance out any bitterness from the added marmalade. I had extra frosting and look forward to spreading it on toast!

Made these and my family loved them. Would make again, without the frosting which we felt wasn't needed. The dough, after its bulk rise, felt so soft and supple but with enough gluten and it was very easy to roll out. Would love to try the dough as a loaf of bread, or again as rolls with different fillings.
